Lucas Hunter is an American basketball coach currently serving as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball program at Northeastern State University, a position he assumed in June 2020. He specializes in coaching forwards and has contributed to multiple postseason appearances during his coaching tenure. Prior to Northeastern State, Hunter coached at Rogers State University, where he helped the team achieve a historic qualification for the NCAA Tournament, finishing the season ranked No. 18 nationally with 24 wins. He also spent two seasons at East Central University, assisting with player development, recruiting, academic oversight, team fundraising, travel coordination, and scouting.
